Guangzhou Institute of Food Industry Hygiene Inspection (formerly Inspection Station of Food Industry Hygiene of Guangzhou) was found in 1978.In 1989, Guangzhou Institute of Food Industry Hygiene Inspection took the lead in passing through the provincial metrology accreditation (China Metrology Accreditation), becoming one of the first qualified metrology accreditation units and possessing the third laboratory status and obtaining the qualification of providing the detection data notarization for the public. In 2004 Guangzhou Institute of Food Industry Hygiene Inspection was granted with China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) Laboratory Accreditation Certificate. Its management system and ability conform to the requirements of certification and accreditation rules. Guangzhou Institute of Food Industry Hygiene Inspection has signed and concluded Mutual Recognition Agreement together with 58 certification institutions from 46 countries and regions, such as USA, Britain and Germany under China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).The detection reports are mutually certificated internationally.
